“ Gloria Maris is a local favorite for Cantonese food in Metro Manila. This time we tried: • Hakaw: Hands down one of the best in Manila—super tasty. • Eggplant with Minced Pork: Great dish with a generous serving, and it pairs perfectly with garlic rice. I even got it extra spicy, and it hit the mark. • Garlic Rice: A huge, flavorful serving that complements the dishes well. • Fried Pigeon: Possibly the best in town—juicy and cooked to perfection. • Lapu-Lapu: A classic dish that’s well-seasoned and cooked just right. • Taho: One of the best around with a big portion. Just a heads-up—it takes about 45 minutes to cook, so order it as soon as you arrive. The service was really attentive, rounding out a great meal. ”
